Margarine was initially manufactured to fatten turkeys. When it killed the turkeys, the individuals who had placed all their funds into the research wanted a payout and so they put their heads together to decide on what to do with this product to get their money back.

It was a white and did not have any appeal as a food item and so they added the yellow coloring and then sold it to people to use in place of butter.

Now its time for the most disturbing fact… here’s the scary part

Margarine is just a single molecule away from becoming plastic… not to mention that it shares 27 ingredients with paint.

Try this experiment at home

Open a tub of margarine then leave it open in your garage or even shaded area. Within a few days you will begin noticing a few things:

  1. no flies, not even those irritating fruit flies will go near it
  2. it does not decay or smell differently because it has no nutritional value; absolutely nothing grows on it. Even micro-organisms won’t grow on it

Why? Simply because it is almost plastic. Would you melt your Tupperware and spread that on your toasted bread?
